For $15, this Proctor-Silex chopper is about as basic as it gets. The 1.5-cup bowl is tiny—fine for a single onion or a handful of herbs, but not much else. The motor is weak; it struggled with larger pieces and needed frequent stopping to redistribute food. The plastic parts feel flimsy, and the lid didn't always stay on securely.
